Welcome to Munara. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Munara, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Munara is a free community reuse platform that connects people who want to give away items with those who need them. Items themselves are always given away at no cost — donors never charge for what they give away. To claim an item, you need an active "Verified Member" status — a small one-time fee that helps protect the community from fake or fraudulent accounts; see Section 7 (Fees and Payments) for details.
3. User Conduct
You agree to treat other community members with respect, provide accurate information, follow our Community Guidelines, and not use the platform for commercial activity or prohibited items.
4. Limitation of Liability
Munara is provided as a platform to connect community members. We are not a party to the item exchange itself and are not responsible for the condition of items or the conduct of users. Reports that a claimer failed to show up for a pickup are reviewed in good faith and may result in the item being reopened to other claimers; such decisions are final. Exchanges are solely between participants.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines. Users may delete their accounts at any time.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
7. Fees and Payments
Giving and receiving items on Munara is always free. To claim an item, you need an active "Verified Member" status, which you get by paying a small, fixed one-time fee (currently around €3) — this helps protect the community from fake or fraudulent accounts and is not tied to any specific item or exchange. This fee is processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe — Munara never sees or stores your card details. Verified Member status lasts 30 days from payment; it is not refundable, and you can renew it at any time once it lapses. Separately, recipients may choose to send the donor a voluntary "thank you" payment after pickup, in an amount they choose. 100% of this payment goes to the donor — Munara takes no commission.
